Damien has a new friend named Sierra!

Damien told me that he is lonely...so i made Sierra this week to accompany him.
Sierra is made from the same pattern as Damien, she is pink in colour  with horse tail whiskers and a tail with wire armatures.

The only thing difference between them is Sierra has a shaved muzzle and I have edited her legs smaller. Isn't it interesting that even with the same pattern, both of their faces turns out to be different even from the same person who made it?

I believe that teddy bear is a piece of art which portays the mood of the artist at the time of its creation, hence I always keep a cheerful mind and thoughts while making my creations. Happy artist = happy bears = happy collectors ~ Spread your happiness to your love ones today!

It's less than a month away from the Singapore Teddy Bear Show!
Time to start gearing up and preparing for the show, cya there =)

My name is Sierra

I am a Wayneston Mouse!

Are you looking at me?

Damien and Sierra are looking for a home
Damien and Sierra are both now available for adoption on my website, if you would like to give them a home please click on the link below or email me at: waynestonbears@yahoo.com.sg

Another cool gadget!

I have been thinking of ways to improve my blog. One of my thought is to start vlogging (video blogging) and if I do one, will there be people watching? LOL... Today, I came across another cool gadget for ipad. It's a modular device for ipad, with this you can start making your own film.

I don't have an ipad, maybe I will get one or perhaps Samsung Galaxy Tab one day.

A very cool gadget that I want!

I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in office everyday and  have been a Wacom Tablet user for more than 5 years, it works very well with these design software. Lately, I found this new, cool gadget that Wacom have just launched, called inkling.

It allows users to converts whatever sketches, memos etc written on any piece of piece into vector graphics. After the file transfer, you can adjust and edit the control points of the lines artwork, this is really fabulous... a very powerful tool for graphic, animation and product designers. I am hoping to get one soon but it hasn't been offically launch in Singapore yet.

I can imagine how fast and productive with my logo designs. =)

Eeeek! Something bad happened this morning!

Preparing to go out to work today, I removed my old spectacles to change a new one, it broke into 2 pieces! It was just a gentle touch!.... This is really bad, I need to go back for army reservice next month and it is broken! Could this be a bad omen?

Even though I have 2 more working spectacles with me, I can't use them for Army training... cos they are expensive... I guess I have to remake another cheaper one for the training because I will still need to serve for another 9 cycles :(

RIP my 7 years old army buddy :(
I have finished making a new Wayneston Critter yesterday night, he is really cute! Can't wait to show him to you. Any guesses what is he? Giving you a hint... he has a tail! =)

I will share his pictures with you this week, do come back and visit us again.

Wayne

Another beautiful bear swap with Korea Artist, ByungHwa Ahn

I guess that I am the luckiest man on earth! Lately, I have added a few beautiful bears to my hug from artist swaps. Yesterday, I am thrilled to receive my swap bear from Amy! I met Amy during last year's Seoul Teddy Bear Convention, she is a nice lady and speaks good English. I am glad we could understand each other and become friends =) I fall in love with her polar and she likes my squirrel design too, thus both of us had agreed to have a swap last christmas.

Amy is one of the award winning artist in Korea and has been making natural & posable bear since 1997. Bears without joints (One piece design) is her signature. This is her website: www.ansbear.com

I have specially create a squirrel named Isabella for her and she made me a Polar with the title: To the North

The special moment when the parcel arrives! It reached my house so fast in less than 3 days! I think Amy must have sent him with Rocket Express =)

Thank you much for the swap Army! Hope to see you soon in Korea next year! ^.^
Hugs, Wayne
