Wayneston Studios is pleased to be chosen to participate in the Maker Faire event last weekend at the Singapore Science Center.
The event was held on 22 & 23 July. It attracted more than 1000 visitors from all walks of life! We saw that there were many students from schools and families visiting over the weekend.

Our booth was located at Marquee together with the other 23 Handmade Community SG artists. In total, there were approximately 400 booths for this event!
We were glad to meet lots of other artists who produce works with other forms and media.

There were painters, needle felters, jewellery designers, paper crafters, polymer clay artists, quilters, floral artists and of course Teddy Bear Artists.
|Paula Loh and Winnie Koh|
We were also glad to meet Sho Yoshida, a paper craft artist from Japan.
We also took this opportunity to promote our shop's grand opening and workshops to the visitors. For many of them, it was their first time getting to know more about Artist Teddy Bears.

|We hope you love the bear you made!|
We had a few children signing up for our Softie Bear Workshop. The kids are really smart nowadays. With minimal guidance, they were able to complete the bear in less than an hour!
