We are celebrating Wayneston Studios' 3rd Anniversary this month! Thank you for all the wonderful support over the 3 years!

Wayneston Studios will open during Phase 2

Dear students and customers,

Please make an appointment with us before visiting our studio. We are only allowed up to 4 persons in the studio at any point of time.

Upon entering the studio, you are required to scan check-in/out at the SafeEntry QR Code on our door and have your temperature taken. Students will have to prepare and wear their personal masks at our studio. We will also ensure a 1-meter distancing rule in our studio. Your health and safety is important to us.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward and welcome your visit soon starting this Friday, 19 June when Phase 2 commences.

Luther Bear Competition Results!

We would like to thank all the participants for taking their time to create and submit all the beautiful Teddy Bears.

In total we had 15 entries, which is more than what we expected!

Nevertheless, we hope you have fun creating your own version of Luther Bear. Each Teddy Bear is unique and we had a hard time deciding the winners...

We would like to congratulate the three winners namely Colleen Spies, Barbora Mihoková and Adrianne Li for their outstanding creations. They will each win a $50 SGD shopping voucher with no minimum spending which they can use it in our store or online store.

Besides the three winners, we have decided to give the rest of the participants a $10 SGD shopping voucher each, for all their creative efforts. Its definitely worth rewarding to those who care to take part in our competition.

We will email the Voucher Code and details to all participants in the next few days. Thank you very much and we look forward to your active participation again in our future Teddy Bear Competition if we ever decide to do one again.

Make a Luther Bear with Wayne Lim! Live on Facebook this weekend!

Dear friends, we will be doing a Facebook Live Video this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 10am Singapore Time)! This time, we are going to teach how to sew a Luther Teddy Bear! Free sessions for everyone to sew together!

We know that this is a hard time for everyone to stay home, it's the same for us! We hope to do our part to share our passion with everyone and perhaps introducing you to a new hobby! Please stay home and make bears with your family and kids.

Please go to our website at the link below to download the free Teddy Bear Pattern. You can use any kind of fabrics, and you may scale up or down to the size you like. For the Facebook Live video, we will be increasing the pattern size by 135% so that it's easier for filming.

Changes made to the same pattern as follows:
1. Increased the size to 135% (Bear size is approximately 5.5" tall)
2. Disc size for head arms and legs - 15mm x pcs
3. Tpin - 28mm x 5 pcs
4. Glass Eyes 5mm - 7mm (up to your personal preference)
5. Mohair fabric 5mm pile

Other required materials and tools:
6. Miniature flockfabric/ultrasuede/felt for paw and footpads
7. DMC Perle Cotton for nose embroidery
8. Scissors, sewing thread and strong polyester thread
9. Awl to make holes for joints

***Please trace and cut out your pattern on fabrics before joining the class! We will be skipping that stage. 🙂

We will also be hosting a Mini Luther Bear Competition for all who has completed their Luther Bears. Email your best photos (Front, Side and Back view) to waynestonbears@yahoo.com.sg with the subject - Luther Bear Competition Entry. You may submit up to three entries.

The best three entries (selected by Wayneston Studios) will win $50 SGD coupon code for purchase of items from our online store.

The Singapore Government will be introducing stricter safe distancing measures as a "circuit-breaker", in the light of an increased number of unlinked Covid-19 cases in Singapore.

Starting Tuesday, Wayneston Studios will be closed for a month. Business resumes on 4 May 2020. (May be extended if necessary)
