Make a Luther Bear with Wayne Lim! Live on Facebook this weekend!

Dear friends, we will be doing a Facebook Live Video this weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 10am Singapore Time)! This time, we are going to teach how to sew a Luther Teddy Bear! Free sessions for everyone to sew together!

We know that this is a hard time for everyone to stay home, it's the same for us! We hope to do our part to share our passion with everyone and perhaps introducing you to a new hobby! Please stay home and make bears with your family and kids.

Please go to our website at the link below to download the free Teddy Bear Pattern. You can use any kind of fabrics, and you may scale up or down to the size you like. For the Facebook Live video, we will be increasing the pattern size by 135% so that it's easier for filming.

Changes made to the same pattern as follows:
1. Increased the size to 135% (Bear size is approximately 5.5" tall)
2. Disc size for head arms and legs - 15mm x pcs
3. Tpin - 28mm x 5 pcs
4. Glass Eyes 5mm - 7mm (up to your personal preference)
5. Mohair fabric 5mm pile

Other required materials and tools:
6. Miniature flockfabric/ultrasuede/felt for paw and footpads
7. DMC Perle Cotton for nose embroidery
8. Scissors, sewing thread and strong polyester thread
9. Awl to make holes for joints

***Please trace and cut out your pattern on fabrics before joining the class! We will be skipping that stage. 🙂

We will also be hosting a Mini Luther Bear Competition for all who has completed their Luther Bears. Email your best photos (Front, Side and Back view) to waynestonbears@yahoo.com.sg with the subject - Luther Bear Competition Entry. You may submit up to three entries.

The best three entries (selected by Wayneston Studios) will win $50 SGD coupon code for purchase of items from our online store.

Please submit all entries before 31 May, 1159 hrs Singapore Time. We will post all the entry photos into a photo album on our Wayneston Studios business page. Winners will be announced in June.
