Bon Voyage Jamie and Joakim

Little Jamie and Joakim has found a new mum! I will be sending them to the airport today.

Bon Voyage my little ones, hope you'll find new friends in USA. I'll miss you, I am sure you'll miss me too wouldn't you?

A friend asked me a question on facebook before...
"Wayne, I have no bear making talents. :-( When I see all the beautiful bears that are handmade with such love I want them all! How do you artists let them go? I realize you make them for a living but I would want to keep every one. I'm glad you can let them go to good homes because if your didn't, there would be a lot of unhappy people in the world. :-) "

My reply:
I think the same too before I am a bear artist. But after I start to make more and more i realise practise makes prefect. Everytime i make, I will do my best to make a even better piece. It's hard to let go sometimes, but I need to let them go out to see this beautiful world - places that I can't afford to go! I believe some day, when have extra money to see the world, Wayneston Bears will be waiting there for me to pay them a visit!

If you are an artist, I would love to hear how do you feel about letting your creations go to their new homes. If you are a friend of Wayneston Bears, I would love to hear your some of your thoughts too... or just popped by and say hello! =)

Sebastian my new double neck bear

Hello everyone! Here's our new Wayneston friend name Sebastian =)

Sebastian is a friendly grizzly bear living in the Wayneston Forest. He loves honey just like Pooh Bear.

He is made using 4 different mohair and I have given him a double neck design which allows him to tilt his head & neck to different angles and directions. I have so much fun making him.

In the past, I had made several double neck bears but they all happened to have long necks... which makes them turns out to look like dinosaurs... LOL!
They are so ugly that I didn't show them on my blog :p I hid them in a box and sometimes i do bring them out for a good laugh =)

Here are some pictures of Sebastian, hope everyone do enjoy viewing him and give me some comments on him. He will be available today on Bear Pile.

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend =)

Meow! A new friend is in town!

Meow Meow Meow... Let's welcome a new friend! =)
Her name is Melissa, a Wayneston Cat that I have made specially for Halloween.

I had always wanted to make a cat and was planning to make one for Friday the 13th... however she is was ready for Halloween instead! I guess she enjoys the party more than I do. LOL

I have made her a orange collar which was inspired by the pumpkim and I have also made her a "Jack O Balloon". Her body was a 4 piece design, therefore she looks more chubby than the rest of the Wayneston bears... all i can say is that i fed her very well :p

To see more her pictures and details please check my bear pile for more information.

Have great weekend my friends =)
