Hi Shuyi, I bought my felting supplies from Etsy. You may find the supplies on ebay too. The supplies are quite expensive, I paid about $80 Singapore dollars for them. (Felting wool and some needles)
I know that spotlight at Plaza Singapora have some supplies too, but you might need to buy the felting needles online.
Hi, chanced upon your website, you're really cool. :) By any chance, do you happen to know how much spotlight sells felting wool for? And can you use fatter needles instead of specific felting needles? Like shuyi, I can't wait to try out needle felting too haha.
I am sorry to tell you that I have never purchase any felting supplies from spotlight. I think they have lesser choices there. There are different types of needles for felting. Coarse, Medium and Fine.
If you are looking for a place to purchase them, I would recommend you to buy them from Etsy, just type needle felting and you can find lots of them.
Hi Joel, I am not really sure, I purchase mine all online. I know spotlight sell last time but not sure if they still import them. I recommend you to purchase them from Etsy or Ebay.
Hi! Just chanced upon this thread. You can get the needles at spotlight. It's around $30 for those with 8 needles for large surfaces. A pack of individual needles (not sure how many) cost around $6. Wool roving for wet and dry felting cost around $15 for 3oz. There are smaller packs too. However colours are very limited.

Hi Shi Qing, I am not sure if they still sell at daiso now. I saw Daiso selling felting needles, however I am not really sure if the quality is good. I recommend you check on ebay or etsy.
Hi, I don't mean to hijack this post but I would like to share that I have some felting supplies if anyone is interested. I bought them at Tokyu Hands in Tokyo and I played around with it for awhile but I haven't touched them for years, some packs have been unopened even. I've got several colours and a couple of needles as well as a felting pad. If you are keen, feel free to get in touch at lambchopra[at]gmail[dot]com
Cool! Let me know how you find it & of course put up pictures! I want to have a go at needle felting too!
ReplyDeleteHello Bec! Thanks for following my blog and adding me in facebook =)
ReplyDeleteI have managed to felt a carrot for my bunny and tried felting eyelids for one of my bears.
It turns out quite well but its kinda time consuming. I m thinking of ways to harden the felt after felting perphaps applying wax or acrylic paint it.
Thanks for the comment, I love receiving comments =)
Dear Wayne,
ReplyDeleteWhere did you purchase your needle felting supplies from? Was the delivery charges expensive? I'm thinking of trying needle felting.
Kudos for such a beautiful blog and website and for pursuing your talent and passion.
I'm inspired just looking around here! Keep up the excellent job!
